Join a young, internationally-minded family who've just made Dubai their home. They're looking for a skilled private chef who can bring both creativity and consistency to their table—someone who understands that feeding a busy family means balancing nutrition with appeal, routine with variety, and simplicity with occasional sophistication.

This isn't a role where you'll be cooking the same rotation of dishes week after week. The family values fresh, seasonal cooking and expects menus that evolve. You'll have the autonomy to source premium ingredients and design meals that reflect both the family's preferences and your own culinary perspective.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

Your day-to-day centers on keeping a household of six well-fed and happy. That means breakfast through dinner, accommodating individual tastes and dietary needs, and making sure the kitchen runs like a well-oiled machine. You'll be shopping for ingredients, prepping ahead when it makes sense, and keeping everything organized and spotlessly clean.

When the family entertains—whether it's a casual weekend gathering or something more formal—you'll step up to create appropriate menus. And when they travel to Europe or the UK, you'll occasionally join them.

Beyond the cooking itself, you're managing the practical side: tracking what's in stock, ordering smartly, minimizing waste, and staying within budget without compromising on quality. Food safety and allergen awareness are non-negotiable.

Who Should Apply

Deal-breakers first: You must currently live in Dubai and hold either a British or EU passport. No exceptions—this is driven by visa and travel requirements.

Experience-wise: You've worked in private households before, ideally with high-net-worth families who have high expectations. You're not fresh out of culinary school (though formal training is a plus)—you've navigated the unique dynamics of cooking in someone's home rather than a restaurant.

Cooking style: You're versatile. Healthy family meals are your bread and butter, but you can also plate beautifully when the occasion calls for it. International flavors, dietary restrictions, kids who might be picky one day and adventurous the next—you handle it all without stress.

Personality: Discretion is huge. You're professional, unflappable, and flexible when plans change. You're looking for stability and a long-term position, not a stepping stone.
