We decided to set up Irving Scott as a boutique domestic staffing agency more responsive to clients’ needs. Irving Scott is “…as good at psychology as it is staff” (Sunday Times): we do this by carefully and skilfully matching refined staff to your needs, always putting forward only the best candidates.
Uniquely qualified in the domain of domestic staffing, Paloma Irving has progressed from her beginnings in the Savoy Group, a Knightsbridge-based staffing company, to startup-company Kids Fun Ideas, a Madrid-based initiative centred on bringing English to children through innovative and playful means. This fostered her keen interest in assisting motivated families to partner with the right professionals for their unique arrangements.
After selling the business, which had catered to members of the Spanish Royal Family, she returned to London. In the past 10 years, she has pooled her knowledge from growing up in a privately staffed home to assisting busy families, to creating Irving Scott, which continues to expand and epitomise excellence within the sphere of domestic staffing. Paloma is also fluent in French and Spanish.
Having benefitted from Paloma’s tutelage and expertise, Adam is a dedicated private staffing specialist. His ambition, and the company’s, is to help London’s best and brightest families access any staff they require. He is also fluent in English and Spanish. Adam’s role at Irving Scott encompasses business development, marketing and collaborative work.
He is now focusing on developing an exciting new bespoke service called Listique, a luxury concierge agency and directory for High and Ultra High Net Worth Individuals and their staff in London. It is their go-to directory of the best that London offers. Listique lists only the very best businesses, specialists, artisans and professionals in the luxury space in London.
We have close relationships with our candidates and principals.
This allows us to better understand candidates’ suitability beyond their specific professional skills. We believe that matching candidates to principals on personality and working style is crucial to the success of placements in private residences.
