Travelling Butler — UHNW Principal

An internationally based UHNW principal with residences in Belgravia, the South of France, and a 60-metre motor yacht is seeking a highly experienced Travelling Butler to provide seamless formal service across all properties and during extensive international travel. This is one of the most dynamic butler positions currently available — demanding adaptability, stamina, and the ability to deliver five-star service whether in a London penthouse or anchored off the Amalfi Coast.

The principal is a self-made entrepreneur in his early fifties who values efficiency, discretion, and quiet excellence above all else. His lifestyle is fast-paced: three months in London, four months aboard the yacht, three months at the villa in Cap Ferrat, and the remainder travelling for business across the Middle East and Asia. A household staff of eight operates across the three residences, and you will be the principal's primary personal attendant throughout.

Day-to-day responsibilities include formal service at all meals, personal valeting and wardrobe management across multiple locations, management of the principal's personal effects during transitions between residences, wine and drinks service, coordination with local household staff at each property, and liaison with the principal's PA on scheduling. Aboard the yacht, you will work alongside the existing crew, taking responsibility for guest-facing service.

This role requires someone genuinely comfortable with constant travel who can maintain the highest service standards in any setting. You are the kind of butler who can unpack and organise a wardrobe in a new city within an hour, who knows the principal's preferences so intimately that nothing needs to be asked twice. The compensation reflects the demands — and the rewards — of serving at this level.
