A highly experienced and professional Private Chef is required for a private household based in Dubai. The role involves working alongside another chef (an Indian chef from the family’s London residence), particularly when the principals are in residence. This is a live-out position, ideal for a chef with a strong knowledge of international, health-conscious, and organic cooking, with the ability to adapt to specific dietary needs.
Household Details:
• Two adult principals
• The lady of the house is vegetarian, while the gentleman is not
• They do not entertain frequently, typically hosting 2 small dinners per week (up to 8 guests)
• Occasional family visits from London, including children (aged 8–16)
• Possibly 1–2 large parties per year hosted at the residence
Responsabilidades clave:
• Plan and prepare daily meals for the principals, ensuring a vegetarian diet for the lady and non-vegetarian meals for the gentleman as requested
• Focus on organic, fresh ingredients as much as possible
• Collaborate and coordinate with the Indian chef when both are working in the kitchen
• Maintain an organized, hygienic, and well-stocked kitchen at all times
• Adapt menus according to preferences, dietary requirements, and any visiting guests (including children)
• Occasionally assist with preparation for private dinners or events (up to 8 guests)
• Ensure high standards of food presentation and quality
• Respect confidentiality and maintain a professional and discreet approach at all times
Candidate Profile:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar private household or high-end hospitality setting
• Strong culinary skills in vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine, with a focus on healthy, organic
• Professional, discreet, and collaborative — able to work alongside another chef when required
• Flexible and adaptive with a calm, positive demeanor
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus
Información adicional:
• No requirement to travel with the principals currently
• When the family is away (4+ months a year), working hours are Monday to Friday, with weekends off
