Most of the housekeepers on our books have five to fifteen years of experience. Some come from hotel backgrounds — the Dorchester, Claridge's, that sort of thing. Others have worked in private homes for years and know exactly how a household should feel.

We place live-in and live-out housekeepers across London and the Home Counties. Whether you need someone full-time or a few days a week, we'll find the right fit for your home.

Everyone goes through proper background checks. We verify at least two references from previous employers, confirm right to work, and run a DBS check. We don't cut corners on vetting — it's your home.

Yes, many have. Working as part of a larger household team requires awareness of other people's roles and the ability to coordinate without treading on toes. If you already have staff, we find housekeepers with team experience.

Every candidate goes through identity checks, right-to-work confirmation, and at least two reference verifications from previous employers. For roles involving children, enhanced DBS checks are standard. We take vetting seriously.

We strongly recommend it. Usually one to five days, depending on the role. It gives you a chance to see how they work in your home, and gives them a chance to understand your standards. It's the best way to know if the fit's right.
