A warm, busy family in Hampstead is seeking an experienced Live-in Housekeeper for their elegant six-bedroom Edwardian house set on one of Hampstead's finest tree-lined streets, just minutes from the Heath. The property is beautifully maintained with a mix of original Edwardian features and contemporary family living — think William Morris wallpapers alongside a state-of-the-art Bulthaup kitchen. The household runs at a lively pace and needs someone who can bring order, cleanliness, and calm to a home that is very much lived in.

The family comprises a couple — both senior professionals in the media industry — and their three children aged 4, 7, and 11. A full-time nanny manages the children's care, and a private tutor visits three evenings per week, but the housekeeper is the person who keeps the household machine running smoothly. The family also has two golden retrievers who are very much part of the home.

Core duties include daily housekeeping of all living areas to a high standard, laundry and ironing (including school uniforms and the husband's business shirts), bed linen changes, grocery shopping and pantry management, preparation of simple family meals on the cook's days off (three evenings per week), flower arranging, and coordination with external service providers (window cleaners, plumbers, garden maintenance). You will also manage the household calendar for deliveries, tradespeople, and school logistics.

The ideal live-in housekeeper is efficient, warm, and naturally organised.
