The property is a masterclass in indoor-outdoor Mediterranean living — vast terraces, natural stone, and retractable glass walls that dissolve the boundary between the interior and the Andalusian landscape beyond. The principals are a semi-retired Northern European couple in their sixties who divide their time between Marbella (approximately nine months) and Scandinavia (three months over the summer). They are gracious, private people who entertain modestly — typically hosting friends for Sunday lunches, small dinner parties, and the occasional family celebration when their three adult children and five grandchildren visit. During the owners' summer absence, the couple will remain in Marbella to oversee the property, manage any renovation or maintenance projects, and keep the estate in pristine condition for the family's return.

The housekeeper's domain covers the full interior: daily cleaning of all living spaces, care of luxury furnishings and artwork, laundry including pressing of table linens and the principal's wardrobe, pantry management, and preparation of guest suites. Light cooking — breakfast, simple lunches, and the occasional informal dinner — is expected on days when the family does not dine out or entertain. The house manager/driver is responsible for exterior estate operations: coordination of the garden team, pool and irrigation system management, overseeing external contractors for any repair or improvement works, vehicle maintenance (Mercedes S-Class and a Land Rover Defender), airport transfers, and errands in town.
