Live in Housekeeper – Chelsea
We are seeking a live in housekeeper (accommodation is separate & independent to the main house and shared with 1 other housekeeper – own bedroom but shared bathroom, shared kitchen and living room)
Job Title: Live in housekeeper
Location: Chelsea
Contract: Permanent, full time
Days: 5 days per week on a rota basis (approx. 8 hours per days with flexibility)
Shifts are likely to be 1 week from 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm and then 1 week later start of 12-8pm or 1-9pm – Weekends are rotated with the other housekeeper so you get some weekends off. If you work the weekend, then you get your days off during the week. Any over time will be paid or days back in lieu – they are flexible to what you prefer.
Candidates must have
Longevity in previous roles as housekeeper
Experience working in households as a part of a team
MUST be flexible with working hours
Strong laundry skills
Be child and pet friendly
Basic cooking skills (breakfast)
Occasional travel with the family
Duties will include:
Daily cleaning
Laundry and ironing
Care of the family dogs
Cooking breakfast
Helping to get the children ready for school
Wardrobe management
Ad hoc errands
Organising and detail cleaning
Silver polishing
Care of fine fabrics and antiques
Helping with dinner parties
