Nanny Position for a 1 year 9 month old Child – Totteridge
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced nanny to care for a 1.9-year-old child on a full-time, 24-hour shift basis, for a 2-week rota. This role is akin to that of a maternity nurse, requiring dedicated and round-the-clock care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time care to the child during the designated 24-hour shifts.
- Accompany the family during travel in school holidays if it coincides with your rota.
- Coordinate with other household staff, such as housekeepers, security, tutors, etc. to ensure a seamless experience for the child.
- Maintain the child’s routine, ensuring feeding, nap, and play schedules are adhered to.
- Engage in age-appropriate activities to ensure the child’s developmental needs are met.
- Report regularly to parents regarding the child’s daily activities, behavior, and health.
Working Hours:
• 24-hour shift, within a 2-week rota.
Travel Requirements:
• Yes, accompanying the family during school holidays when on rota.
Accommodation:
• The nanny will be provided an en-suite room which they will share with the child.
Other Important Information:
• The child does not have any known allergies. However, comprehensive information and instructions will be provided by the mother upon hiring.
• The nanny does not need to drive as the family has a designated driver.
• Only one nanny is on duty at any given time for the youngest child.
• Other household staff includes 2 housekeepers, a driver, a security guard, tutors, etc.
Compensation:
• £350 per shift (gross)
Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience in child care, especially with infants and toddlers.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment with other household staff.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and needs.
• A caring and compassionate nature, with a genuine love for children.
