Daily Housekeeper – Notting Hill 10am to 6pm

Housekeeper – Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Location: Notting Hill, London

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience

A prestigious private residence in Notting Hill is seeking a skilled and reliable Housekeeper to join a professional team of five housekeepers. This is a full-time role within a very large, high-spec property, requiring exceptional attention to detail, teamwork, and experience working in luxury private homes.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning: Daily high-standard cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and sanitizing throughout the home.

Laundry: Full laundry care including washing, handwashing, drying, ironing, folding, and garment care. Must have solid knowledge of fabric types and care labels.

Garden Tidying: Support the upkeep of outdoor areas through basic tasks such as weeding and keeping spaces neat and presentable.

Organizing: Maintain tidiness and structure throughout the household, ensuring everything is in its designated place.

Inventory Management: Monitor and restock household supplies including groceries and cleaning products.

Household Maintenance: Report any repairs or issues to the house manager or senior housekeeper promptly.

Safety and Hygiene: Ensure all cleaning and maintenance work complies with health and safety standards.

Special Requests: Prepare guest rooms and support with additional duties as requested by the principals or management team.

Team Collaboration: Work harmoniously within a team of housekeepers and communicate effectively with other household staff.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a large, high-end private household.

Strong work ethic, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Excellent knowledge of cleaning methods, laundry care, and household operations.

Able to take initiative and work efficiently within a team.

Fluent English; good communication skills are essential.
