Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced housekeeper-cook to join a warm and welcoming family in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the home, as well as preparing delicious, healthy meals for the family.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the house, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping
- Carry out laundry and ironing duties as required
- Prepare and cook nutritious meals for the family, catering to any dietary preferences or restrictions
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and organised at all times
- Manage grocery shopping and pantry inventory
- Assist with any other household tasks as needed, such as running errands or caring for plants
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, providing exceptional service to the family
- Liaise and communicate effectively with other household staff, as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a housekeeper-cook in a private household setting
- Excellent cooking skills, with a focus on healthy and diverse cuisine
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- High attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills and a friendly disposition
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the family’s needs
- Must have the right to work in the UK
